Vietnam Pepper Monthly Round-Up November 2021

The price of inorganic fertilizer has increased dramatically which lately caused trouble-some situation for farmers. Regards this, farmers are recommended to use compost organic fertilizers from agricultural by-products, especially when the coffee harvesting season is occurring. In details, farmers can make use of coffee husks, parchment, and other foreign matters which are the main components for composting process. Using this method not only helps them on saving money, but also protects environment as they do farm towards sustainable agriculture and improve the soil quality. Under the cooperation program of Simexco, the certified scale of farmers in new crop 2022 will be expanded. In addition, Simexco is the first and earliest exporter/producer got Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade Certification for both coffee and pepper in Vietnam.
